The Art of Choosing a Domain Name: Branding and Descriptives

Branding is essential to getting your blog off the ground. Sure a catchy name doesn’t meant everything (obviously, since my name isn’t catchy), but it does help build an identity and rapport with your readers.

Although your domain name is important, it’s not easy to get a good one. Thanks to the millions of people that have staked their claim to that internet real estate already, ingenuity is the name of the game.

Roadmap for Getting a Site off the Ground

Getting your website/blog off the ground may seem daunting, and it can be. But once you’ve done it, everything else is gravy. Here is roadmap to get you off the ground if you are trying to figure out where to start.

Decide on your topic: Pretty straightforward, but you have to make sure you know enough about it and can get enough content. It’s also pretty important it’s something you are interested in, but a lot of people forget this.
